The renovation of this 250 sq.m office space reimagines the contemporary workplace through a balance of openness, flexibility, and refined materiality. The project transforms an outdated office interior from the ‘90s into a contemporary working environment that promotes collaboration, comfort, and productivity while maintaining a strong architectural identity.

Organized around a double-height central space, the design enhances visual continuity and natural light throughout the office. Existing structural columns were preserved and integrated into the new architectural language, reinforcing the character of the building. The open-plan layout allows uninterrupted connections between workspaces, creating a dynamic yet calm environment. The main meeting room is carefully located centrally as the ‘heart’ of the office allowing acoustic privacy through glass partitions while preserving a sense of openness and interaction. Curved geometries and soft lighting introduce a more fluid and welcoming atmosphere.

Material selection plays a central role in shaping the identity of the space. Warm oak flooring, black metal-framed partitions and timber slat details introduce texture and warmth while contributing to the acoustic performance of the office.

Lighting was approached as an architectural feature rather than a purely functional element. Linear fixtures define circulation and work zones, while sculptural circular luminaires add visual softness and reinforce the contemporary character of the interior.

Indoor planting elements were strategically incorporated throughout the office, introducing a natural layer that enhances wellbeing and softens transitions between spaces. The result is a contemporary workplace that combines functionality, flexibility, and timeless architectural quality in a calm and human-centered environment.
